Tick Tracker continuously gathers the most authoritative tick and tick-borne illness data available and blends it into a single, current picture of risk. We combine CDC tick surveillance, CDC Lyme disease records, the CDC Tick Bite Data Tracker, and CDC alpha-gal case data with live, research-grade tick sightings from iNaturalist, habitat and seasonal conditions, and reports submitted by people on the ground. Rather than handing you a wall of raw statistics, our engine weighs each of these signals by how authoritative and how fresh it is, then distills them into a clear 0–100 risk score for every county in the country , so the science behind your safety is always working in the background.

Every county is shaded by its current risk level, and you can switch between layers to see exactly what you care about , overall tick risk, historical Lyme incidence, raw case counts, or our dedicated Alpha-Gal Syndrome exposure indicator. Turn on live sighting pins to see where ticks have actually been found and verified near you, and tap any county to open a transparent breakdown showing every factor that shaped its score, the data sources behind it, and how recent each one is. With your permission, the app reads your location to surface the risk for your exact county, a seven-day tick activity forecast, and the nearest trails and recent sightings — and your precise location never leaves your device. Save the places that matter most, like home, a favorite park, a campsite, or the kids' school, and Tick Radar will alert you when the risk there climbs or when you arrive in a high-risk area, so you can take simple precautions before heading outside.
